In a lot of ways, Kota’s World allowed me to vent voices in my mind through the characters. Chalk is that voice. He hates Kota the same way I hated myself. He was every negative thought and deed I ever had aimed at myself given a public forum. A running theme of all this was the fact that Kota was going to die. There are a few stories about it but by the end you can see my self image start to change. The reasons for it changed from self loathing to sacrifice for your friends. Kota’s World is a five year therapy session and if you pay attention, you can see me start to get better. Also, Keith’s doctor is Dr. Worm. I’m a TMBG fan. Sue me.
