One of my big regrets is in how long it took to develop Destiny’s character. I think that maybe that’s why I wrote her out and gave her a different path like this. I felt that there was no basis for her and Kota being together.
Something I’ve realized. I’m not as big a fan of thought balloons as I used to be. I think I’d rather just have someone talk to themselves or let their faces tell the story.
So here’s another rooftop moment and a wall of text to go with it. I’ve learned to break those up, of course. I think part of this was me trying to rationalize how Kota seemed to do things that didn’t make sense for someone with the power of destruction. It turned out ok.
This isn’t an amazing page, but I will say it’s pretty solid art-wise.
Everyone got a kick out of “see you when you’re sane”. They both went on a walkabout here and I don’t think I ever really got that point across well.
I’ve always wanted to go on a walkabout. Just leave one day and not come home till you find yourself. These days though I don’t think I’d have to walk far.
